Kerst Trifle à la KarmaKarma

A light, festive twist on the English classic – without cream or sugar bombs, but packed with pure goodness!

Ingredients

  • 400 g creamy yogurt (plant-based or classic, your choice)
    200 g frozen raspberries
    4 handfuls of KarmaKarma granola

Also needed:
A glass bowl, jar, or carafe.

Preparation:

  1. Raspberry layer

    • Let the frozen raspberries thaw slightly so they become juicy.
Lightly mash them with a fork for a fresh coulis-like texture.
  2. Yoghurt layer

    • Spoon a generous layer of yogurt into each glass.
For extra festivity, you can add a hint of vanilla or cinnamon.

You can also add a subtle festive twist to the yogurt layer for a more “wow” effect:

    • Vanilla extract: a few drops immediately add a warm, round flavor.

    • Cinnamon or gingerbread spices: perfect for the holidays, creating a cozy vibe.

    • Lemon or orange zest: fresh and sparkling, balancing the sweetness of the granola.

    • Honey or agave syrup: a small spoon makes the yogurt a little softer and more festive.

    • Cocoa powder: for a light chocolate touch.

     3. Granola-crunch

    • Sprinkle a layer of KarmaKarma granola on top of the yogurt.
This gives the trifle its crunchy bite and nutritious boost.

     4. Repeat the layers

    • Continue building: raspberries, yogurt, granola.
Finish with a colorful topping of raspberries and a final crunch.

Extra tips:

Serve in clear glasses so the layers are beautifully visible — instant holiday magic.

For an extra festive touch, finish with a sprig of mint or a sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings.

Why we love this trifle

This trifle is both healthy and festive, with all the classic layers but without heavy cream or cake, while the yogurt provides protein, the raspberries are rich in antioxidants, and the granola provides fiber and energy.
